However, the difference is that instead of identifying ghosts and leaving like in Phasmophobia, players need to delve deep into ancient Egyptian ruins to locate the Mejai relic. Once players have found the Mejai, they must choose between escaping and leaving all loot behind or performing a dangerous banishment ritual.
On April 25, 2024, the developer of the game was thrilled to announce the release of a major content update for FOREWARNED, titled "Final Reckoning." This update will mark FOREWARNED's transition out of Early Access and into its 1.0 release:
