Return to Twisted Animation Horror in Bendy: Lone Wolf
Bendy: Lone Wolf marks the newest chapter in the inky nightmare of Joey Drew Studios, launching on August 15, 2025, across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. A physical edition is also planned for PlayStation 5 and Switch on October 24, with mobile versions following soon after. The game builds upon the eerie legacy of the Bendy franchise, blending survival horror, roguelike progression, and vintage cartoon aesthetics into a tense, unpredictable experience.
Players step into the role of Boris the Wolf, navigating procedurally generated corridors that twist and shift with every playthrough. This unpredictability ensures that no two runs are ever the same, amplifying the sense of dread as players scavenge for resources, set traps, and fight their way through the grotesque creatures known as the Dark Puddles. Looming over it all is the ever-present Ink Demon, a relentless pursuer whose heartbeat-like signal warns players of impending danger, forcing them to decide whether to fight, hide, or flee.
The game’s art direction stays true to Bendy’s signature style, evoking the rubberhose animation of the 1930s while infusing it with a modern horror twist. Each inky hallway and shadowy encounter feels hand-drawn yet oppressive, immersing players in a world of surreal terror. Its roguelike elements, including permadeath and shifting environments, bring added replayability and tension, demanding sharp instincts and careful resource management.
Interestingly, Bendy: Lone Wolf is both a rebrand and an expansion of the earlier title Boris and the Dark Survival (2020). Fans who already own that game will receive the new version for free, though Joey Drew Studios has promised far more content, deeper mechanics, and a richer narrative than the original. For many, it feels less like a simple update and more like a full-fledged evolution of the series. Currently, visit our website for the lowest price on Bendy: Lone Wolf.
