Alpha testing has started for Diablo 4

The success of Diablo Immortal is undeniable proof of the huge popularity of the Diablo series. Players have spent over a hundred million dollars in the game in just over a couple of months after release. As you can imagine, there is a massive community of players that's been eager to play Diablo 4 since the game was first shown at the BlizzCon. The new graphic style, the return of classic classes, like the Druid, and a whole new adventure in the world of Sanctuary are enough reasons to be excited about the upcoming release of the game. The wait is too long for many players, but the development of the game keeps progressing, and Diablo 4 would have entered the testing phase now, according to some reports.

Friends and Family alpha testing is already happening, and the feedback seems to be mostly positive. Although the reports seem to have quite a solid base, we won't be seeing any footage of the game anytime soon, as all the participants are under a non-disclosure agreement. But that may not be enough to stop any info from being leaked one way or another. In any case, everything seems to be in motion now, and sooner than later, we may be hearing about a beta phase, and you may even get the chance to try Diablo 4 ahead of release.

The release of Diablo 4 is scheduled for 2023, but no official date has been confirmed for it. Fortunately, Diablo Immortal has appeared as an option to pass the time for those that want to discover a story that takes place between the events in Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, as long as they don't mind to spend a lot of money to gear up their characters.
