Saints Row: The Third Remastered is on the way

It was leaked during the weekend by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which had a listing with a new version of Saints Row: The Third. Following the leak, Deep Silver has decided to please the fans of the game and confirmed that it is under development right now. The publisher has revealed a video that shows the new graphics and even compares them with the ones in the original game. The announce trailer also gives us a release date for Saints Row: The Third Remastered, which will be available on May 22, 2020, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Epic Games Store.

Saints Row: The Third was released in 2011 and developed by Volition, but Deep Silver has teamed up with Sperasoft for the remaster. The new version of the game features enhanced graphics, lighting and VFX to make the game even more spectacular, but the game will be as brutal and irreverent as the original one. According to the information revealed until now, Saints Row: The Third Remastered won't be adding many novelties beyond the graphics overhaul, but if you are a fan of the Saints Row series it should be more than enough for you to give it a try.

Saints Row: The Third is also known for having a ludicrous number of DLC but if you are going to play the remaster you won´t have to worry about that, because it will include the three major expansions released for the original game as well as a selection of 30 DLC that will add all kind of contents to the game. Although Saints Row is considered by some players as a clone of Grand Theft Auto, the series is full of action and it's quite fun and it has a certain degree of craziness that makes it quite attractive to a lot of fans.
