Peaky Blinders: Mastermind announced for summer 2020

Created by Steven Knight and broadcast since 2013, the Peaky Blinders series is very popular and it has been widely acclaimed by critics. While the fifth season was released late last year, and although we only had 2021 as the release window for season 6, we already know that we will have to wait longer than expected. Indeed, the filming of this new season of Peaky Blinders was supposed to start at the beginning of 2020, but due to the current situation, it has obviously been postponed.

That's bad news for all fans waiting to see the Shelby family again. But it turns out that while waiting for season 6, we will still be able to follow some of their adventures because Peaky Blinders: Mastermind has just been revealed.

It is an action-adventure game integrating puzzles and riddles that you will have to solve. Peaky Blinders: Mastermind takes place before the events of season 1 and it will include the most emblematic characters of the series. Mastermind refers to Tommy, who as the head of the family and gang is also the master of operations, but you can also play Arthur, Polly, John, Ada, and many others. In terms of gameplay, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind challenges players with complex puzzles that have to be solved within a time limit. With a heavy focus on infiltration, you will have to manage a sort of chronology, which you can move forward or backward, to use and combine the skills of each character, placing them in different positions to perform actions, such as opening a door or distracting an NPC.

Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is being developed by Futur Lab and will be published by Curve Digital. The exact release date has not yet been revealed, but it is slated to be released this summer on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
