Assassin's Creed Valhalla would be bigger than Odyssey

Officially unveiled less than a month ago, Assassin's Creed Valhallais currently in the spotlight. It's already been a while since rumors have been circulating about the game, especially since an easter egg had teased the theme of the Vikings in The Division 2 last year. Even it's no longer a rumor with the release of the game scheduled for the end of 2020, it seems, however, that some information revealed by an official source ultimately turned out to be inaccurate.

If you have been following the news about Assassin's Creed Valhalla you should have heard certain information concerning the size of its map. Malek Teffaha, communication manager of Ubisoft in the Middle East, affirmed via a tweet on his account that Assassin's Creed Valhalla wouldn't be the biggest or the longest game in the series, having a smaller map and shorter lifespan than Assassin's Odyssey. The tweet has since been deleted, and the game producer Julien Laferrière spoke about that matter during an interview on Julien Chièze's YouTube channel.

Opposite to what was stated, he affirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be "even bigger than Assassin's Creed Odyssey". He also specifies that the game map will include all of England, a good part of Norway, and even other "secret" worlds. It's difficult to say what these secret worlds will be right now, but we imagine that there should be a connection with Norse mythology. This could be quite interesting, because this mythology is extremely rich, and it includes nine different worlds, like Ásgard, the world of the gods, or even Jötunheim, which shelters ice giants.

We should know more in the weeks and months to come, but Julien Laferrière insists on the fact that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will offer us "many hours of gameplay" and that the game is very ambitious. In any case, it makes you want to know more about the game and finally be able to discover its gameplay.
