Apex Legends adds new seasonal content

Respawn is constantly adding new content in order to improve the experience that Apex Legends offers to the players. Season 5 of the game starts tomorrow and it's bringing some interesting additions to the game. The first one is a seasonal quest that will have players busy throughout the whole season trying to unlock new rewards by completing a variety of objectives.

The quest is called "The Broken Ghost" and it requires players to collect daily Treasure Packs by taking part in competitive Apex Legends matches, including Duos, Trios, Limited-Time Modes, and Ranked. Those packs grant them rewards like Battle Pass XP, crafting materials, and Apex packs but also new Hunts. These Hunts are weekly missions in which you can join other players to adventure into Kings Canyon to retrieve pieces of an artifact. Every time you complete a Hunt you will uncover part of the story of The Broken Ghost and if you manage to recover nine parts of the relic you will be able to “dive into the past, and uncover a secret that the Outlands might not be ready for,” according to Respawn.

There are a total of 45 Treasure Packs available this season, and you can unlock only one a day. Every five packs you will unlock a Hunt, and you can only get artifact pieces from the Hunts that you start, even though you can take part in other people's Hunts or be joined by others on yours. Therefore, obtaining The Broken Ghost will have you busy for a few weeks at least.

Season 5 also adds some other novelties to Apex Legends, like a brand new character, Loba. She is a thief that grew up after being witness of her parents murder at the hands of the simulacrum Revenant and now she is after him to claim revenge.
