Set during the timeline of the original Ninja Gaiden trilogy, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound introduces Kenji Mozu, a young member of the Hayabusa clan entrusted with defending his village while Ryu Hayabusa faces threats elsewhere. His path crosses with Kumori, a fierce kunoichi from the rival Black Spider Clan. When a mysterious demonic rift engulfs their world, the two ninjas must join forces, literally. Through a soul-binding fusion, Kenji and Kumori gain new powers and form an unbreakable bond that unlocks devastating attacks and game-changing traversal abilities.

The gameplay is a masterclass in fast-paced action. NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound features tight controls, fluid wall-running, precise air-dashing, and a reactive parry system that rewards skillful play. Kenji can tap into a charged "overload" state after slaying powerful enemies, temporarily turning into a force of destruction. Kumori, meanwhile, can shift into a hidden demon dimension to uncover alternate paths, solve platforming puzzles, and reveal threats invisible to Kenji.
