A new killer arrives at your favorite asymmetric survival horror experience with Dead by Daylight: Ghost Face. With this DLC you will be able to take on the role of the iconic masked killer and chase down your victims to stab them mercilessly. Jed Olsen, also known as Ghost Face, is a murderer that terrorized the city of Roseville with a series of brutal kills. Under the appearance of a young and enthusiastic journalist, he made a legend of his evil alter ego by writing several articles for the local newspaper where he even dared to publish pictures of Ghost Face during his crimes.

In the game, Ghost Face is a masked terror dressed in black who wields a big knife to stab his prey to death. He can use his special ability, Night Shroud, to go into stealth and become undetectable by the Survivors for a limited time. He can also detect Survivors outside of his Terror Radius when they make loud noises.

The Dead by Daylight: Ghost Face DLC will give you access to several exclusive items for Ghost Face: the Monochrome Maniac body and Silvery Steel Tactical Knife.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can Ghost Face's Night Shroud ability be completely negated by simply looking directly at him while he's stalking?
Yes, direct line of sight while he's stalking will immediately break his Night Shroud, stopping the stalk and preventing any exposed status effect.
Does Ghost Face's ability to lean around corners, while in Night Shroud, provide a way to see survivors or is it purely a way to hide?
Leaning allows Ghost Face to peek around corners while remaining hidden, providing a way to assess survivor positions and actions, but doesn't grant any special detection abilities.
If Ghost Face stalks a survivor, then loses line of sight, does he retain the progress he's made on the stalk?
Yes, if Ghost Face has partially stalked a survivor, the stalk progress is maintained for a short duration even if line of sight is broken. He needs to reacquire line of sight to finish the stalk.
When Ghost Face is in Night Shroud, does he have any terror radius?
No, while in Night Shroud, Ghost Face's terror radius is completely suppressed, allowing him to approach survivors undetected, until the Night Shroud breaks.
Are there any indicators for survivors to identify when Ghost Face is using his Night Shroud other than direct visual confirmation?
No, survivors only know that Ghost Face is using Night Shroud by seeing him.
Does the exposed status effect, granted by Ghost Face, persist if he is stunned or blinds while stalking?
No, if Ghost Face is stunned or blinded during the stalk process, the exposed status effect is removed.
Can Ghost Face reveal survivors through walls using his stalk ability?
No, Ghost Face's stalk ability only exposes survivors who are within his line of sight. He cannot see or reveal survivors through walls.
Does Ghost Face's movement speed change while using Night Shroud?
No, Ghost Face moves at his base movement speed of 4.6 m/s, both inside and outside of Night Shroud.
Can Ghost Face be interrupted while initiating his Night Shroud ability?
Yes, he can be interrupted. Any form of stun or a well-timed flashlight save can cancel the ability's activation.
How long does it take for Ghost Face to recover from being revealed by a survivor?
It takes a few seconds to recover from being revealed by a survivor. During this time, he cannot use Night Shroud.
