Frank and Drake follows the story of two unlikely friends with a complex relationship. They share an apartment in the fictional American city of Oriole City, a place that seems to be quite tranquil but hides many secrets. Although they were strangers, living in the same place has allowed them to create a special relationship that has some peculiarities. Frank is busy with a job that has him occupied the whole day, and when he gets home he is just too tired and stressed. Drake is allergic to sunlight, which forces her to sleep during the day. They only communicate through the notes they leave for each other in the apartment. This wouldn't be a problem if they didn't find themselves involved in a mysterious conspiracy that has them both as a target.

In order to find out what's behind the conspiracy and save themselves, Frank and Drake will have to explore a city that changes with the day/night cycle.
