Bring about world peace by force in John Mambo, an over-the-top retro-style action game with an isometric top-down view. You play the titular Mambo, a parody of Rambo, a war machine who is on a mission to take down the enemy wherever they may hide, even in the deep jungle. It’s a suicide mission, but somebody’s gotta do it.
Play as a solo commando, or bring along a friend to storm the jungle, co-op style. Face tanks, traps, explosives, soldiers, and the occasional hungry crocodile. Take orders from the Colonel and get sent one hilarious mission after another, all of them fatal but not serious.
Like other retro games such as Commando, Ikari Warriors, and Mercs, John Mambo is rendered in 16-bit graphics reminiscent of 90s games, but with modern controls and graphic engines.
