There is no place as harsh and unforgiving as the Arctic, and its exploration posed one of the greatest challenges in human history. In Dread Hunger, you are one of the intrepid explorers carving a path through the frozen waters of the Arctic on a ship in 1847. The crew is comprised of eight members, and everyone tries to do their best to survive and reach the final goal. Or that's how it should be because several traitors are trying to undermine your efforts by calling for occult forces and dark powers. 

Dread Hunger is a multiplayer survival experience where you either play as one of the crew members or one of thesaboteurs that try to put an end to the expedition in the worst possible way. The game features detailed survival mechanics, and you will have to cooperate with others and work hard to survive in the extreme weather conditions of the Arctic. But if you are a saboteur, your mission is even more complicated because you need to get rid of the crew members without getting caught. You can feed them tainted food, lure animals into attacking them, or even isolate them from the others to butcher them. To make things worse, a massive blizzard seems to be tailing the expedition somehow, and you are under the permanent threat of a terrible death.
