Memories may be tricky things, but they’re better than having none at all. Revita is a twin-stick rogue-like platformer that features bright 2D pixel-style graphics and relentless action. You play a nameless blue-haired boy who wakes alone in a subway with no memories. The only thing he has is a burning desire to ascend a mysterious clocktower that may hold the key to his past. But it is not going to be easy, as each level is procedurally-generated; each time you die, you start over from the bottom of the tower.

Shoot, dash, and wall-jump across randomly generated rooms as you fight an endless stream of strange-looking creatures. Trade health for power as you try and find a balance between offense and defense. Collect souls from defeated foes in order to gain new items of power-ups that can make your next trip through the tower that much easier. Meet NPCs that will help you on your long journey, even as you face down the numerous bosses that will try to impede your progress.
Prepare yourself for the ascent, and remember: you don’t play the same tower twice in Revita.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

If I cleanse a corrupted soul in the Undergrowth, will it provide the same benefits as a soul cleansed in the Sunken Sanctum?
No. The benefits of cleansing a soul are directly tied to the specific location where the cleansing ritual is performed, offering unique boons based on the zone's properties.
Can I use the same Relic multiple times in a single run, and if so, how does its effect change?
Yes, you can. However, the Relic's effect usually changes with each use, often becoming less potent or gaining a different, sometimes risky, secondary effect.
Do all weapon upgrades carry over between the main world and the mirror world?
No, weapon upgrades are generally tied to the specific world you are in. When you transition between worlds, your weapon reverts to its base form, requiring you to find new upgrades.
How does the 'Echo' mechanic affect the overall gameplay loop?
The Echo mechanic allows you to revisit previous versions of rooms, offering a chance to gather missed resources, face different enemy spawns, or even discover secrets you couldn't access earlier.
Is there a limit to how many 'Corrupted Shards' I can hold at once, and what happens when my inventory is full?
Yes, there's a limit to how many Corrupted Shards you can carry. When full, you won't be able to pick up more until you use or trade some. Excess shards might be lost if you die.
If I use a consumable item, such as a 'Mystic Potion', right before a boss fight, does the effect persist into the encounter?
Yes, the effects of consumable items generally carry over into boss fights. So timing your item usage can be crucial for success.
Can I interact with the 'Merchants' across different zones using the same currency?
Generally, yes, the main currency you collect is usable across different merchant locations, though certain merchants might have unique exchange rates or require specific items.
Does the 'Mirror World' offer a completely different set of enemies and item drops compared to the main world?
No, while the 'Mirror World' has its own twists, it reuses much of the assets from the main world, but re-contextualizes them to offer fresh challenges. Enemy patterns and item drop pools have significant changes.
How do 'Soul Vessels' interact with the 'Blessing Altars' found in each zone?
Soul Vessels can be used at Blessing Altars to unlock permanent passive abilities, offering significant power boosts for your character based on the blessing you choose.
Are there any consequences for repeatedly using the same weapon in each run, or is weapon variety purely optional?
While weapon variety is encouraged, you are free to favor a specific weapon. However, your skills with the preferred weapon do not increase as such. The best result comes from playing around with different weapons.
