Return of the Obra Dinn

Time travel solves grisly murders in this mystery puzzle game. From the maker of Papers, Please, Return of the Obra Dinn is a first-person POV game that uses the monochromatic graphical style of very old PC games. In it, you play an insurance investigator for the East Inda Company trying to solve an old mystery.

The Obra Dinn is a merchant ship that returns to England five years after going missing in 1803. However, every single one of its crew and passengers is dead or missing. Your job is to account for every single person: who they are and how and where they died. Your only tools are your own wits, an eye for detail, and the Memento Mori pocket watch, an artifact that lets you perceive what happened in the exact moments leading up to a person’s death. From this snapshot in time, you may reconstruct the scene and determine what happened to the ill-fated souls on the ghost ship. 

This mystery will test both your deductive skill and attention to detail. You will need every ounce of your wits to unlock the deadly mystery behind the doomed Obra Dinn.
