Three years after the events at Beacon Psychiatric Hospital, Sebastian Castellanos resumes service with The Evil Within 2! In the first opus, Sebastian was a detective and he was led to investigate Beacon following a strange series of murders. After many adventures in the heart of the STEM, Sebastian finally defeated Ruvik and returned to the real world, but his story does not stop there. Indeed, fate has not stopped struggling with our detective, now without work and alone. No one wanted to believe his account of the events that took place in Beacon. Worse yet, the research he has been conducting for three years in order to uncover the real motives of Mobius have not given anything. But after so much suffering, including the loss of his daughter in a fire, and the horrors he survived in Beacon, a new glimmer of hope shines for Sebastian. You will have to explore this new world to find Lily, and also to thwart Mobius's plans. But you will have an important help this time. Through his "communicator", Sebastian is able to keep in touch with Kidman, and thus with the real world. She will also serve you to follow the mission objectives and she will allow you to access elements of Union's past too. The Evil Within 2 offers you a more flexible gameplay than the previous title. You will have the freedom to explore Union as you see fit, with many secondary objectives to make the game less linear than its predecessor. You will have more freedom in your style of play. Whether you're an infiltration enthusiast or you prefer to dash into the heap, Sebastian is customizable to suit your mood. An appreciable novelty concerns the green gel in particular.
