Freedom Planet is a 2D combat-based platformer that follows the steps of one of the best classic franchises of the genre, Sonic the Hedgehog. You will play as one of the three protagonists, Lilac, Carol and Mira, anthropomorphized animals embarked in a mission to capture the intergalactic warlord Arktivus Brevon, whose spaceship has crashed on their planet. They will have to make use of all their special fighting abilities, including spinning and double-jump attacks to dash through the many levels of the game and get to fight tons of quirky boss enemies.
An amazing gameplay and 16-bit style graphics with backgrounds inspired by medieval Chinese art will make the delights of the fans of the genre that used to play the old Sonic series on SEGA consoles.
