    Whoever said that intergalactic mining can't be fun? If you think it isn't, you haven't played TerraTech yet. For in this game, you are indeed an intergalactic miner, but with a twist, as you get to make the machines that help you mine and get materials across a procedurally generated universe full of planets that have resources obstacles, and of course, competition. It'll be up to you to be the best miner possible, and ensure that all of your hard work pays off. In the future, mankind is on the brink due to Earth's resources being nearly depleted. So, you take up the job as a prospector to try and get new resources for Earth, and get yourself glory and profit as a result. But, there are other people who think the same thought. So now, you have to not only fight for every resource, you have to actually defend yourself against your rivals. That's the beauty of TerraTech, as you actually get to build the machines that can help you dig, or help you fight. What kind of vehicles will you create? Will you make fliers that'll patrol your claims so you are never caught off guard? Will you make massive behemoths that can take damage and give just as much? What kind of mining vehicles will you make? Will you build them for speed? Ability to get more materials out of the ground? The choice is yours! The more resources you get, the more you can build, and the more you can build, the more prepared you are for the exploration of new worlds, and the people that will try and stop you from getting rich.
