New version of the portal from July 2010, released the same day as Starcraft 2. Battle.net allows online purchase of any Blizzard games (Diablo, Starcraft, World of Warcraft). Once you have a Battle.net account, you will have access to the Blizzard download ensuring your game installs and updates. Add games on your account with cd-keys or directly through the website. There are seven regional and distinct zones within the whole Battlenet network: North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Europe, Russia and Taïwan. Communications between players through games and community forums is thus limited to the geographic areas of the user’s account.
