Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is coming in early 2022

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is coming in early 2022

Back in June, Gearbox Software surprised us with the announcement of a new Borderlands game. Well, technically it's not really a new game in the series but a spinoff inspired by one of its most popular characters, a little girl with a knack for explosives and destruction that all the fans know as Tiny Tina. Even though Tiny Tina's Wonderlands takes a different approach to the crazy world of Borderlands it will still feel familiar to all the fans of the series, as it follows a similar idea to Borderlands 2 DCL Assault on Dragon's Keep. In that expansion, players could take part in a sort of RPG adventure where certain storytelling elements that you commonly find in tabletop fantasy role-playing games were adapted into Borderlands frenetic shooting madness. The result was an exciting adventure culminating in an epic fight against three powerful dragons.

Moving fast forward in time, Borderlands 3 has completely changed the universe of the series, but some things never change, and Tiny Tina seems to continue loving role-playing games. We don't know yet if she will continue being the dungeon master in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands or what kind of approach Gearbox will exactly take to the action in the game, but we are quite sure that it will be an incredibly fun shooter with lots of weapons, amazing enemies, unicorns, explosions, and dragons, of course.

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford already confirmed that "Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a full experience with a rich, story-driven co-op campaign and repeatable end-game content." It was about time that Tiny Tina got its own game, and even though according to Take-Two's quarterly financial report the game will launch sometime in the first three months of 2022, we are totally sure that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is going to be worth the wait, especially for all those that love Borderlands 3.
