Tales from the Borderlands will be back

Despite being busy with the recent launch of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and the development of post-launch content for the latest adventure in the Borderlands universe, Gearbox still has time to think about other projects. The studio is well known for its acclaimed first-person shooter series, but Borderlands has become so big that it has enough room for other genres. After all, all the games in the series share a thrilling storyline that connects everything, and that's a lot to say because it braches across three main installments and plenty of additional DLCs.

Telltale Games created Tales from the Borderlands in 2014 as an episodic graphic adventure that allowed you to delve in the chaotic universe of the series. The game followed the same pattern as other games from the studio, with a gameplay based on dialogues and a deep storyline where your choices would determine the final outcome. the story took place after the events in Borderlands 2 and followed the adventures of Rhys, a Hyperion employee, and Fionna, a con-artist.

Tales from the Borderlands was critically acclaimed as the perfect spin-off for those that love Borderlands games, but the closure of Telltale Games did put an end to it. Or that's what we thought until now, as Gearbox has recently revealed that it will be back in a new adventure that will be announced this summer.

There's no hint about the kind of story that the new Tales from the Borderlands game will feature. It may continue the story that started in the first game, but it's more likely that whoever is making the game decides to explore a different path. After all, Borderlands 3 changed everything, and the scenario is a bit different now.

In any case, we will have to wait a few months to discover what Gearbox is planning. Meanwhile, you can visit our comparator to find all the Borderlands games at the best price, including a Tales from the Borderlands PC code cheap.
