Take-Two talks about GTA VI
The official announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI took place a few months ago when Rockstar Games finally stated that the game is "well underway." Since then, all the news about the new installment in what can be considered the most popular series in the story of video games have just been speculation and reports, and the developer has not confirmed any of them. But GTA VI, whose real name we don't even know yet for sure, is so important that even Rockstar parent company Take-Two is talking about it. The company's yearly financial update has been the occasion to bring the upcoming game to the first line, and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has stated the following:
"With the development of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases."
Although he has basically said the same Rockstar did a few months ago, the statement serves as a confirmation of the huge implication of the company in Grand theft Auto VI. They are quite aware of the relevance of the game, which will be thoroughly analyzed by critics and the public. Therefore, they need to release a flawless product that doesn't put at risk the excellent reputation gained with all the previous installments over the years.
Let's face it. Grand Theft Auto V is an outstanding game whose longevity is off the charts. If they release anything less solid than that, no matter how good the graphics are, the negative feedback will be overwhelming. We already saw it happening with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition, which didn't meet the expectations in any way at launch due to a series of annoying bugs. Rockstar can't allow that to happen with Grand Theft Auto VI. The controversy around Cyberpunk 2077 will be laughable compared to a failed GTA VI launch if it happens.
In any case, we can only hope for the best. There will be more news about Grand Theft Auto VI, and we will get a glimpse of the gameplay. Meanwhile, you can visit our comparator and get your Grand Theft Auto V PC key and keep yourself entertained, as it offers an incredible experience.
