Serious Sam: The First Encounter is a classic from 2001 and the first installment in the Serious Sam series, which has become quite popular over the years. In the game, Sam "Serious" Stone will travel back in time using an alien artifact to change the course of history in his timeline and save Earth. To do so he will have to fight against Mental, an evil alien being who wants to rule the universe and that will invade the planet if Sam does not finish him in the past. Our hero will travel back in time to ancient Egypt, where he will try to find a way of getting rid of Mental. Serious Sam: The First Encounter offers you bucketloads of action while fighting against hordes of aliens and although its graphics are a bit outdated, its gameplay is as good as ever. The game is a great way of spending your time while you are waiting for the release of Serious Sam 4, which should be available on September 24, 2020.
