Sand Land gets a Spring release date

Sand Land is an upcoming video game inspired by the manga series from Akira Toriyama. The creator of Dragon Ball has come up with a new series set in a completely different scenario and starring a brand new cast of characters. Sand Land follows the adventures of three characters who team up to embark on a perilous journey to find a source of water in a world afflicted by extreme drought. The game adapts with great accuracy the characteristic drawing style of Toriyama in his mangas, which made him famous worldwide with Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball, and others.

Coming next Spring

Bandai Namco has released a brand new video of Sand Land that serves as an announcement for the official release date. The game will finally be available to play on April 26, 2024, across several platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The trailer also reveals gameplay footage that revolves around action-based vehicular combat, which will be one of the main ways of fighting against powerful enemies in the game.

Sand Land will let you customize your vehicles in the game with a myriad of parts and weapons that will allow you to create a specific configuration for your hovertank and hovercar. Moving throughout the scenario at full speed while you shoot down your enemies and dodge their attacks is the bread and butter of combat in Sand Land. Of course, the game also features a wide range of decals to personalize your vehicles and make them look unique.
