Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer shows many of their features
The new batch of games in the Pokémon series will be playable in about a week. Nintendo has released a new video that delves into many of th e new features that Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will add to the series. Ed Sheeran's music accompanies you in this journey through the world of Pokémon in a video that does not go into detail about all the mechanics but allows you to watch them in action. But don't worry if you are yet to discover both games and have no clue about the novelties they are bringing because we got you covered.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet novelties
First of all, the video shows the Scarlet Book and Violet Book, two tomes that include many details about an expedition that took place in ancient times. They reveal unidentified creatures from the Paldea region, including two of the new monsters that players will find in the new games: Iron Threads and Great Tusk. Each of the books hides many misteries and will be carried around by one of your companions in the game, and it will be accessible to you throughthe whole adventure as a source of information.
The video also shows the new Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles, a new version of the standard challenge seen in other Pokémon games that will pit you against stronger versions of certain monsters. They will be available for a limited time only, but they will yield great rewards for those skilled enough to come up victorious.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be compatible with Pokémon Go and Pokémon Home. This will allow you to check out information about online competitions and also transfer Pokémon between the game and Home, which will be a great option if you want to play with creatures from previous games in Paldea.
