Outbreak mode is getting a new map in Black Ops - Cold War

The addition of a zombies mode to Call of Duty games is something that nobody would have guessed years ago. Thankfully enough, the developers were brave enough to introduce it in the game and now it's a common addition to most of the games in the series and one of the favorites of the players too. Even though there have been several approaches to the zombies' theme through the years, the experience included in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is one of the most exciting ones. Outbreak takes players to a zone infested with zombies, where they have to complete certain objectives while keeping the monsters at bay.

Outbreak games take place in any of three different maps from the Fireteam mode that have been modified to fit this specific experience, including Alpine, Golova, and Ruka. But the popularity of the zombies' mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War keeps increasing, and developer Treyarch has teased a brand new map for Outbreak via Twitter.

The footage will be quite familiar for those that own Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, as it reminisces of Sanatorium, the fourth Fireteam map that is left, but we are sure that you will be able to figure it out by yourself since it will probably be available in the game very soon. The second season of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War has brought a lot of additional content and features to the game, and it's quite a tempting option for those players that had the first contact with the Call of Duty franchise via Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale experience based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

We encourage you to give Warzone a try before buying Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. The latter offers a more complete experience with a wide variety of multiplayer modes and single-player missions, but the battle royale is free.
