Black Ops - Cold War Season 2 brings a new Zombies mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War has met with success quite fast. Although this can't be considered unusual due to the huge amount of fans that the Call of Duty license has, the experience offered by the game is awesome, and its popularity has also been increased due to the massive number of players that Call of Duty: Warzone is bringing to the series with its free battle royale gameplay. It's no wonder then that now that the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is about to end everyone is eager to try all the novelties that Season 2 is bringing to the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War Season 2 will begin on February 25 and it will come with four new operators, challenges, prestige levels, and more, but one of the most interesting additions to the game will be Outbreak, a brand new open-world Zombies experience. Developer Treyarch has published a video that reveals many details about this gameplay mode that will be available in just a couple of days.

In Outbreak, you will be part of a squad of soldiers that is in charge of closing a series of space-time anomalies. You will have to complete different objectives as you try to keep yourself alive but it won't be as easy as you may think because plenty of zombies will enter the map through those portals. Outbreak combines the largest multiplayer maps in the game with zombies to bring a brand new gameplay experience to Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. New zombie types, vehicles, and other novelties are part of what this new gameplay mode has to offer and you will be able to enjoy it without having to pay an extra because it's coming as a free addition for all those that own the game.
