Latest Night City Wire shows Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay and more

Given the progression that the release of Cyberpunk 2077 has gone through with several delays through the year, quite a few players were expecting bad news to be announced during yesterday's Night City Wire. In the end, no additional delay was announced and instead of that, we could watch a five minutes long official gameplay trailer that revealed even more details about Night City and Cyberpunk 2077. The big novelty about this video is that it gives us quite a clear overview of the game that includes an introduction to the story, details about character development and customization, and more.

Having the digital soul of Johnny Silverhand inside your head and being hunted by most of the corporations, gangs, and mercenaries of Night City seems to be quite a challenge, especially since Johnny seems to have his own motivations and agenda. What we know about the story in Cyberpunk 2077 so far points at quite a deep and thrilling story that will probably surprise all those that were expecting the game to be a sort of polished hack and slash title with RPG mechanics in which all the fun would come from obliterating your enemies with a variety of skills. A second video revealed yesterday shows that the involvement of the deceased Johnny Silverhand in the story will prove to be quite an interesting factor that will add a new level of complexity to the plot.

Yesterday's Night City Wire also included a third video in which we can listen to the actor Keanu Reeves talking about his character in Cyberpunk 2077 and that also shows some behind the scenes footage that shows details about the development of the game.

If Cyberpunk 2077 is half as good as it seems to be, we are definitely looking at one of the most impressive adventures ever created and a game that will definitely have a huge impact in the world of video games.
