Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai introduces battle styles
Square Enix revealed more details and assets highlighting the various battle styles of the playable characters – Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel – in the upcoming action role-playing game, Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai! There's also Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince cooking in Square Enix's development backlog for turn-based enthusiasts. The Monster series is another Dragon Quest spinoff that puts players to tame and control the game's beloved creatures.
In Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai, embark on a thrilling quest battling the Dark Army and their myriad monsters as Dai and his friends, utilizing each character's unique set of attacks, guarding and dodging abilities against the enemy, as well as iconic Skills and Spells from the "DRAGON QUEST: The Adventure of Dai" anime series.
The Disciples of Avan – Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel – each has several unique Attacks, Skills, and Coups de Grâce abilities players will soon be able to master. Dai's battle style relies on cutting down enemies in close quarters with knives and swords. His Unique Skill is called Draconic Aura and greatly increases all his stats. Dai can use the Wave Slash special skill and the Avan Strash Coups de Grâce from the Avan Style Sword.
Popp is the party's mage and excels when acting from a safe distance. Meditation, his Unique Skill, reduces the recovery time between each skill. His Special Skill is Crackle, an ice magic, and Popp's Coups de Grâce is called Kafrizz, a devastating fire spell.
Maam is a Warrior Priest, meaning she can both pack a punch and aid the party with healing magics. She wields a hammer spear for meele attacks and a magic bullet gun for specials. Her Unique Skill is Reload which prepares her guns to cast Midheal or unleash the Coup de Grâce Magic bullet: Crackle, where she shoots enemies with frost-infused bullets.

Then, we have Hyunckel, the party's dark knight. Hyunckel is Avan's apprentice who lost his way but returned through some bonding. His style is called Dark Armour Blade, and he can use the Unique Skill Amdo to further increase his defenses by wearing the armor. We have Bloody Scryde for his Coups de Grâce, a spiraling red wave that deals massive damage to every enemy caught in it.
As players progress through the story, new Battle Styles will become available to Maam and Hyunckel to help Dai on his adventure, offering even more Skills and Coup de Grâce abilities to master. Maam learns the Warrior Mastery Syle, overpowering enemies with her agility and close combat that are unrivaled in strength, and Hyunckel swaps his blade for a spear but is still just as strong as he was with his sword.
