Hitman 3 shows off its VR gameplay

The release of Hitman 3 is getting closer at high speed and the closer it gets, the faster is the rate at which we get information about the game. Less than two weeks ahead of the official release of Hitman 3, reviews and tests are starting to pop up all over the internet, and for the moment they seem to confirm what we have seen in the varierty of official videos published to date, especially the gameplay ones released recently: Hitman 3 has a lot of potential.

In parallel, we are now discovering new gameplay of Hitman 3 in virtual reality. The fact that this latest installment in the World of Assassination trilogy features VR is no surprise, as it was announced a while ago by IO Interactive. Besides, it won't be just the last installment that will be playable in virtual reality, since Hitman 3 will allow you to import levels from Hitman and Hitman 2, if you have both games. However, this feature will be exclusive of Playstation players. Indeed, it does not matter if you play on PS4 or PS5, since VR being compatible with the two generations of consoles, but if you are playing Hitman 3 on PC, you won't be able to play the game on VR, at least not yet.

If you're the lucky owner of a PS VR headset, you'll be able to enjoy the entire trilogy from a whole new perspective. Hitman is a series that aims to offer intense immersion to the player and VR can only strengthen this aspect of the game, in particular by allowing the games to be played in the first person. This is an important detail because Hitman 3, like its predecessors, in its classic version, is played in third person.
