ELEX II new combat trailer

THQ Nordic and Piranha Bytes have announced a new trailer for their upcoming game ELEX II. The trailer focuses on combat and shows Jax using different weapons to face all kinds of enemies, from humans to machines to giants. Magic and guns are also part of the protagonist's array of armaments. The trailer also announces that pre-order is available, so interested parties know the drill.

The invasion has begun! An enemy force has landed on Magalan, bringing death and destruction to the planet and all its inhabitants. There's only one way to stop them; fight them with everything you've got. Let fire rain on them, shoot them with guns, bows, rockets, or laser weapons. Hack, slash and smite them with your sword, axe, or chainsaw - whatever weapon suits you best. ELEX II lets you choose how to fight using melee, magic, or ranged combat, or a combination of all three. You can learn every skill, and you can master every weapon - it's all up to you.

ELEX II overview

ELEX II is a direct sequel to ELEX, an open-world RPG developed by Piranha Bytes, the award-winning creators of the Gothic and Risen series. The game is set in the post-apocalyptic science-fantasy world of Magalan, with huge environments that can be explored with unparalleled freedom via jetpack. The plot takes place several years after Jax defeated the Hybrid, but now a new threat arrives from the sky.

Seeking to defend the peace of Magalan and the safety of his own family, Jax embarks on a mission to convince the factions to unite against the invaders, as well as a personal quest to find his son, Dex, who has been separated from him. Immerse yourself in a vast, handmade, and outright unique world with multiple factions and diverse environments set in a universe colorful as only the apocalypse can be.
