Deep Rock Galactic unveils Season 2 roadmap

The dwarves of Deep Rock Galactic are getting ready for Christmas festivities and the upcoming anniversary of the game. Recently, developer Ghost Ship Games has detailed the content coming to its unique cooperative first-person shooter, including some of the additions that will arrive during its second season, which will launch at some point in Spring 2022.

But before that, Deep Rock Galactic players can participate in the yearly Yuletide celebration event, which will start on December 14 and include a new assignment that rewards players with festive hats and other rewards. The last weekend of February 2022, the anniversary of the game will come accompanied by a celebration live-stream and some kind of event in the game whose content is yet to be announced.

These celebrations will pave the way for the launch of Deep Rock Galactic Season 2 between March and April 2022. The new season will include four new secondary weapons, one per class, as well as plenty of accessories for them and new assignments. The performance of the game will also be enhanced through a new pass that will include improvements to the UI, tweaks, and other changes. The theme of the new season has not been revealed yet, but a DLC pack full of cosmetic items matching it will be available for those players that want to support the developers.
