There are certain games that do not get old no matter how long go they have been released. Dead Space is definitely one of those. The survival horror game from 2008 is a favorite of the fans of the genre, even with its outdated graphics, and the announcement of a remake yesterday during the EA Play Live event was an unexpected surprise that has been received quite a warm welcome. A brief teaser has been enough to make Dead Space remake a hot topic among gamers and you can watch it below.

Dead Space remake will be created from the ground up to deliver the same type of thrilling survival horror experience as its predecessor, but it will feature enhanced graphics, and improve every other aspect of gameplay. Of course, you will still have to explore the corridors and rooms of the USG Ishimura in the role of the engineer Isaac Clarke as he investigates what has happened to the ship's crew, solves puzzles, and deals with threats. The remake will maintain all the story and gameplay elements that made its predecessor an iconic game and take them to a new level.

To deliver such an immersive experience in an appropriate way, Dead Space remake will only be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This time, Motive, the creators of  Star Wars: Squadrons, are the ones in charge of the development of the new Dead Space and they seem to be quite excited about it.

“We have a passionate team at Motive who are approaching this remake as a love letter to the franchise. Going back to the original and having the opportunity to do so on next-gen consoles excited everyone on the team. As we look to modernize the game, we’ve reached out to dedicated fans and invited them to provide us with feedback since the early stages of production to deliver the Dead Space game they want and for new players to enjoy as well.”

No release date for Dead Space remake has been announced yet but we hope to be able to play it as soon as possible.
