Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 13 million copies

It may sound unbelievable to many of you, especially those that have been following the news about the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, and even more to those that have decided to ask for a refund after trying the game on PlayStation 4. Despite all the refund campaigns, all the memes, and the controversy that has surrounded the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the number of copies of the game that have been sold across all platforms surpasses the 13 million already. Those are the numbers provided by CD Projekt Red in a regulatory announcement that estimates the sales of Cyberpunk 2077 by December 20.

Obviously, the hype generated by the game exceeds by far the impact caused by the number of bugs that Cyberpunk 2077 has and the poor graphical performance on consoles. It is true that It was said that players on next-gen consoles wouldn't have access to the version specifically designed for their hardware, which should arrive in 2021, but it's also true that the experience on old consoles has been a disappointment for many people, and that has led to countless complaints in all possible ways. But it seems that nothing can stop Cyberpunk 2077 from becoming one of the most popular games ever created, and we will probably see those numbers growing in the following months, especially after the new version of the game for next-gen consoles is released.

In this case, patience seems to be the key, and CD Projekt Red is already deploying updates that fix some of the problems in Cyberpunk 2077.
