Cyberpunk 2077 demo will be shown at E3

It would seem that something like a game like Cyberpunk 2077 appearing during the E3 would be a no brainer for the majority of the people. But if you think about it there are some companies that decided to show their games only during private passes limited to a certain number of people or available only to the press. CD Project RED has confirmed that their upcoming title will be available to the public during the E3 next month, and that´s great news because it guarantees that we all will get to see more footage of the game. On the bad side, those lucky enough to attend to one of the most important video games events in the world this year won't be able to give a try to a demo of Cyberpunk 2077, and that´s a real shame. First, Cyberpunk 2077 game director Adam Badowsky revealed through a post on Twitter that they will be present in the Public Zone of the E3, and even shared a video of their location inside Los Angeles Convention Center.

Hyped to share with you that we’ll be present in the public zone at E3 2019, too! #Cyberpunk2077 pic.twitter.com/bT2d7mA3QC

Later, to try to put a stop a to all the speculation and inquiries about if Cyberpunk 2077 would be playable or not during the E3, community lead of the game Marcin Momot revealed that the demo won't be playable.

To answer many questions about the demo and whether or not @CyberpunkGame will be playable at E3 -- we are going to be hosting gameplay presentations (game played by us) in that cinema.

I guess it´s not much, but it's much better than a press-only event. It doesn´t really make much of a difference for the people not attending to the event, even more, it's rather annoying if what you get to try is an unfinished version of the game that will be far different from the final product. Cyberpunk 2077 still has quite a few development months ahead of it before the game launches. It´s not like getting feedback from the people is bad but sometimes it can be something very complicated to handle. If you have the public to influence how your game should be you may end with a title that may sell a bit better but that could be quite far from what you originally intended to create. If you ignore the feedback, you could just miss a great opportunity to successfully deliver a game that pleases the players and that could be even worse. Finding the balance between both is the key to success, and the guys from CD Project RED seem to have their own formula for cyberpunk 2077. We all can agree that it has worked for them pretty well so far, you just have to look at the evolution of The Witcher franchise over the years. We can just only hope that Cyberpunk 2077 is as good as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, if not better. Until more info about the game is revealed you can enjoy 48 minutes of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay in the following video.
