Bethesda details Starfield's next patch
A few days ago Bethesda revealed that the next expansion for Starfield is coming next fall. Shattered Space is expanding the game with new content that includes a new storyline and more. However, the studio also confirmed that it will continue to improve the game via free updates even if it's working on the expansion. Starfield director Todd Howard revealed that the next update for the game would be available soon and now the studio has revealed what's to be expected from the upcoming patch.
Update 1.11.33
Starfield's next update is available on the game's beta server and all those who own the game can give it a try for free. The patch features a series of improvements to the game that include detailed surface maps, the new Extreme difficulty level, and new options to customize your experience in Starfield. Also, players will be able to decorate their ships just like they can do with their outposts right now. On the technical side, update 1.11.33 includes a plethora of bug fixes, as well as general stability and performance improvements across all platforms.
Those who play Starfield on Xbox Series X will enjoy new settings and Performance Mode will now target 60 fps, and 30 fps for those with standard displays. Those players using 120Hz VRR screens can choose between 30, 40, 60 or Uncapped frame rates, with 40fps being the default. The studio has released a video accompanying the update and you have the complete information in the official patch notes which you can check out here.
Bethesda is committed to making Starfield the best possible game across all platforms and continues to tweak it with every patch. The next big addition to Starfield should include mod support for consoles via the Creation Kit and we should see a few more updates released ahead of the arrival of Shattered Space, which will probably happen next September. Meanwhile, the game offers the biggest space adventure of all time to those willing to explore the galaxy and you can use our comparator to purchase a cheap Starfield game code if you don't want to miss it.
