Abzû and The End is Nigh are free for a week

It´s almost impossible that you don't know what we are talking about if we say that Epic Games Store has free games every week. Fortnite creators have been giving away games for free for more than half a year already, and they plan to continue doing it for a while longer, more precisely until the end of the year at least.

Starting today and until next Thursday you can visit Epic Games Store and claim your copy of a couple of free games. This time the selected titles are a platformer and an underwater exploration adventure: The End is Nigh and Abzû.

The End is Nigh is a creepy indie platformer from the developers Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel. In this 2D adventure, you will play as a small black blob called Jack. He is the only survivor after an apocalypse and he will travel through more than 600 levels full of traps searching for a friend. The End is Nigh offers simple but rewarding gameplay to the fans of platform games with an art style that reminisces titles like Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac.

Abzû is a video game from 505 Studios Games and Giant Squid Studios that focuses heavily on underwater exploration. You will play as a diver that discovers the remains of an ancient civilization. As you explore your surroundings, you will get immersed in an adventure in which you will have to solve puzzles and uncover many secrets in order to revitalize the ocean.

You have until September 12 to claim Abzû and The End is Nigh on PC at Epic Games Store if you desire. Keep in mind that other free titles will follow these ones next week when they will be replaced by Conarium, a horror adventure inspired by the novels of H.P. Lovecraft.
