SNK is celebrating the release of the latest installment in the Samurai Shodown series on PC. Samurai Shodown has been available only con console since it was released last year. Since then, it has been a refreshing addition to the fighting video games genre. It allowed players to engage in thrilling duels to death against other weapon users. Old combat mechanics as well as graphics are taken to a new level and Samurai Shodown delivers one of the best combat experiences in the fighting games that have been launched in recent years. But it seems that SNK has more in store for us and the Japanese company will be releasing a huge compilation Samurai Shodown titles on PC.
Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection includes the first five games in the Samurai Shodown series, Samurai Shodown V Special, and Samurai Shodown V Perfect. The latter is a huge surprise because it actually will be available to the players for the first time ever. But the surprise doesn't end there because Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection will be available for free on Epic Games Store on June 11. That's right, whether you are a fan of one of the most popular fighting series of all times or not, you will have access to all the Samurai Shodown classic games for free. Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection also includes a museum with more than 2000 images and music tracks as an extra.
If Epic Games Store is not your cup of tea, Samurai Shodown NEOGEO Collection is also coming to Steam one week after that, and if you want to play it on consoles, it will be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 28, 2020. Of course, the latest Samurai Shodown game is not included in the collection, but if you want to play it on PC you will be able to do it from June 11 via Epic Games Store.
