Grab Close to the Sun and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments for free

Two thrilling adventures are available for free today for you. Epic Games Store continues handing out free games every week and this time you can get Close to the Sun and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments just by claiming them through the EGS app on your PC. Once you do so, they will be yours permanently. Although both games are adventures they are quite different. One focuses on criminal investigation and the other is a horror story, but both of them will keep you entertained for a while.

In Close to the Sun you will play as a journalist names Rose Archer. It's 1897 and your sister is working onboard Helios, a magnificent ship born of the mind of Nikola Tesla, which is dedicated to the most advanced scientific investigation. The Helios is stranded in international waters and after losing contact with your sister, you arrive at the ship to discover that something is very wrong. The stench of rotting blood fills the air, the word Quarantine can be read written on the entrance hall and there is nobody on sight. You will have to find your missing sister and find out what has happened on the Helios.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will put you in the shoes on the most famous investigator as he tries to solve the mystery behind six different cases that apparently have no relation. By making use of different tools and investigation methods, you will have to find clues, the reason behind the motivations of the criminals and finally find the perpetrator of every crime in your list, demonstrating that nobody can escape from your inquisitive mind.

Both games will be free for a whole week and they will be followed by another two games that will be made available for free: Just Cause 4 and Wheels of Aurelia.
