Desynced is a captivating simulation game where players are tasked with building and managing a colony on a distant planet. Set against a backdrop of strategic resource management and advanced automation systems, players can design complex workflows and direct autonomous drones to enhance productivity.

When your ship sustains damage and you are forced to land on an unknown planet, you dispatch drones to develop necessary facilities for repairs, guided by your onboard AI, ELAINE. Your mission involves automation and survival—delve deeper into the mysteries of the planet as you thrive.

The game features a unique approach to logistics, utilizing drones instead of traditional belts to move materials around your base. You'll set up mining operations, manage power resources, and customize your drones with specific tools and programmable behaviours through a user-friendly drag-and-drop scripting interface. Resource management, customizable drones, and an expanded technology tree, Desynced offers a unique experience.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: How does the 'Assembled' state of a structure influence the overall efficiency of its assigned tasks, and are there specific thresholds or stages within the assembling process that provide varying levels of functionality?
Structures in the 'Assembled' state function at a reduced efficiency, determined by the percentage of components assembled. The exact efficiency is directly proportional to the percentage assembled. Therefore, structures are fully functional only when fully assembled.; Can I queue multiple build orders for the same structure, and if so, how does the game manage the resources required, especially when facing resource scarcity?
Yes, you can queue multiple build orders. The game prioritizes resource allocation dynamically based on the current available resources. The game tries to maintain building operations even in cases of scarcity.; What is the impact of a structure's 'integrity' on its function, and how do environmental factors or enemy actions influence a structure's integrity?
A structure's 'integrity' represents its health. Damage to integrity reduces the structure's efficiency, potentially halting operations if integrity reaches zero. Environmental hazards like radiation and enemy attacks directly affect integrity.; Does the game feature a 'blueprint' or 'template' system for constructing complex structures, and can blueprints be shared or traded between players?
The game allows blueprints for complex structures to be saved and reused. The blueprint system enables you to duplicate existing structures and save time. The blueprint system does not allow blueprints to be shared or traded between players.; How does the 'power grid' function in relation to resource distribution, and what are the consequences of power grid failure or overload?
The power grid is essential for distributing energy produced by power generators to all structures. Power grid failure causes all connected structures to cease operations. Overload can cause damage to structures.; How does the game handle resource transportation between different bases or outposts, and are there different methods of resource transport available?
Resource transportation occurs through automated systems like conveyors and drones. The game may offer different transportation methods each with their pros and cons. The choice depends on the resources available and the distance.; Can I set up automated production chains, and if so, what level of control do I have over the flow of resources and products through these chains?
Yes, automated production chains are a core mechanic. You have extensive control over the flow of resources and products. You can specify the input, output, and processing steps.; Are there any 'research' or 'technology tree' mechanics, and if so, how do these mechanics influence the availability of new structures, upgrades, or abilities?
Yes, a research and technology tree is present. Research unlocks new structures, upgrades, and abilities, allowing for the progression of a player's base and defense capabilities.; How does the game handle combat, and what strategic considerations are involved in unit deployment and base defense?
Combat involves deploying units and setting up defensive structures. The strategic considerations involve unit composition, positioning, and base layout. Unit abilities and defensive structures are essential for victory.; What are the core differences between the single-player and multiplayer modes, particularly in terms of resource management and base-building dynamics?
The single-player mode allows for a more focused experience with slower progression. In multiplayer, players need to cooperate to manage resources and construct bases, or compete against each other. Resource management and base-building dynamics are heavily influenced by player interaction.
