Buy Cortex Command

Here is a game where you must really use your brains. Cortex Command is a  2D strategy game where you must use your troops, droids, weapons, and vehicles to destroy your enemy faction’s brain while protecting your own. 

Pick a faction and create a bunker to serve as your base and defend your brain. Plan a labyrinth of passages, set up blast doors, place traps, and have your troops guard the entrances. Watch your expenses as you do this because you need money to go on the offensive.

Dig for gold around your area that you can use to purchase more troops and weapons. Your purchases will be delivered to you via drop ship. Once you have enough, take the initiative and attack your enemy’s base!

Cortex Command features a fully-destructible environment that ‘remembers’ the damage that you do it. Debris from ships and defeated enemies become part of the landscape, creating a scenery of war that persists throughout the campaign. You can even use in-game editors to create your own levels. Finally, you can go head-to-head with up to 4 players, either against each other or an enemy AI.
