In the 1950s, though the war is long over, several Nazi criminals evaded justice and are still at large. As such, Attorney General Fritz Bauer has assembled a team of prosecutors to investigate Nazi crimes, search for evidence, and bring these figures to court. It won’t be easy—some of these high-profile criminals are still members of the German government.

You play as Esther Katz, a young lawyer seeking justice in an attempt to cleanse the soul of your country. You must gather evidence by using your network to look for witnesses. You must interrogate these witnesses to determine what they know and suss out the truths from the lies. You need to reconstruct what happened at a crime scene to build up a case. You must charge the perpetrator with the correct crime to have them arrested and prosecuted. Finally, you must face them in court and present an airtight case to get a conviction.
