As a blacksmith, you have a lot of tools at your disposal. If you prefer a more hands-on approach, you can confront the goblins yourself and bash them with your hammer to send them flying. Use your active ability by charging your hammer to unleash a world of hurt on these pesky invaders.

The goblins will keep coming, so you want to work smarter, not harder. You can use the environment to your advantage. For example, use a nearby torch and some explosives to blow goblins to smithereens. You can trap them in a choke point to make defense much easier.

Finally, you can unlock and upgrade machines to help you with defense. Create up to 16 different structures like cannons and barricades to defend your castle, then mix and match them according to your strategy to wipe out the horde.
