Beckett

Nightmarish. Disturbing. Surreal. All of these amply describe Beckett, a point-and-click story-driven game that explores the nature of reality itself. You play as Beckett, a private investigator deep in despair after the loss of his wife. He is assigned to a missing person’s case to look for a mentally troubled old man who is lost in a cruel and heartless city. 

You work to find clues by interacting with various objects onscreen. As you delve deeper into the case, you find yourself mired in a noirish Lynchian nightmare presented consistently in original ways, like filmed footage or a collage of black and white photos. Beckett is an uncompromising work of art and will stay with you long after you’ve put the controller down.
