Steins; Gate Elite is a remake of the original visual novel Steins; Gate developed by 5pb. It is very similar to the original, but this version is fully animated, using footage from the anime adaptation of the original game along with newly produced animation by White Fox. The game is the result of the vision of Chiyomaru Shikura, his planner, who wanted to evolve the visual novel genre, but costs made him decide to create a game instead, reusing a lot of the already made anime.

Okabe Rintaro thinks of himself as a " mad scientist," and he always talks about stopping the massive, sinister force known as The Organization. Accidentally he and his crazy lab members discover a way to travel to the past. Sending a person might present a lot of problems, but they come up with a different option: transmitting data. To do this, they connect a cellphone to an industrial microwave. The story is about time travel and the consequences of altering the past. The game works hard to provide a legitimate explanation of the science behind the idea, incorporating many real-life scientific and theoretical physics. It includes a brilliant glossary that will help you understand the slang and otaku culture references as well as the more complicated points. Choose wisely when to answer or not the messages, as the ending depends on them. The game has frequent hilarious moments, with interesting characters and, while it has some horrible endings, it rewards you with one end that is truly amazing.
