With its experience in the field of racing games, the Italian studio Milestone, the origin of licenses like MotoGP, or the four first WRC, returns with Gravel, a completely uncanny racing arcade.
For Gravel, Milestone has been inspired by flagship titles such as V-rally, or MotorStorm, and adds a small grain of madness. Indeed, in Gravel, you play as a pilot participating in an off-road racing reality show. To have a chance to continue the adventure, you will have to prove yourself, both in terms of performance and style. This staged reality-show promises a fierce competition. As you win races, you'll earn stars, allowing you to compete in new events, and even face the champions of previous seasons of the show. To unlock new cars, you will also have to prove that you are a hard driver. Indeed, in Gravel, the cars cannot be bought, you will have to unlock them thanks to your performances. The stars you have won, as well as your popularity, will give you early access to a more varied panel of vehicles from all styles and eras. Yes, in Gravel you have to win everything!
On the gameplay side, Gravel is an arcade title, so you will not be lacking in thrill. In addition to a sensation of intense speed, driving is both tense and fun. You do not have to be a master of the trajectory because it's fun here. Your car will rarely come out of the track, but that does not mean that the races will be easy. Anything goes to finish first and shine in front of the spectators. Your opponents will not hesitate to be the winner, and you, of course, can give them a run for their money.
Gravel offers you several game modes. In addition to the career mode, you will find:
The Wild Rush mode, in which you will participate in races in the wildest places of the world.
The Cross Country mode will allow you greater freedom. You will be moving on vast open tracks and will have to validate a certain number of checkpoints.
The Speed Cross mode, will take you on real tracks to prove your off-road driving skills.
Stadium mode allows you to express your creativity in arenas where acrobatics are the main focus.
