Claim two free PC games on the Epic Games Store over the next week

The new year has arrived, and Epic Games Store is commemorating it by offering not just one, but two games as part of its Holiday Giveaway. The platform had an impressive lineup of fantastic free games over the previous two weeks, including popular titles like Hogwarts Legacy, Sorry We’re Closed, Disco Elysium, and others. Its grand finale might be the most exciting yet, as the latest holiday freebies comprise Wildgate and Total War: Three Kingdoms. PC gamers can claim these games and retain them permanently if they do so before January 8.

Among the two, Total War: Three Kingdoms was released in 2019 as another installment in the Creative Assembly's strategy series. Centered around a conflict in ancient China, players can choose to unify the land through either diplomacy or warfare. The game also features formidable warriors from the historical saga, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, who possess extraordinary strength and abilities for combat.

Three Kingdoms offers an engaging mix of empire development, governance, and conquest, along with breathtaking real-time battles that will appeal to fans of the genre. Even if real-time strategy isn't your preferred style, the game is definitely worth grabbing for free.

On the other hand, Wildgate is a multiplayer shooter from Moonshot Games that combines PvPvE elements, placing players in futuristic space settings to fight against one another using spaceships. Developed by a team that features ex-Blizzard devs, Wildgate piqued everyone’s interest when it released last April. Each match features objectives like artifact collection or eliminating rival crews, with gameplay hinging on the ships that players pilot and battle from.

The exciting giveaways for Total War: Three Kingdoms and Wildgate are currently available on the Epic Games Store. With the holiday promotion winding down, Bloons TD 6 will begin the regular weekly giveaways starting January 8.
