This week's game Launches on PC, PS5, Xbox: September 2025 (Week 39)

The final full week of September is stacked with new game releases, covering nearly every genre imaginable. From sweeping historical adventures to unsettling horror tales, lighthearted holiday games to competitive sports titles, players have plenty of options to dive into between September 22 and September 28, 2025.

September 22-28 releases

September 23 will bring several highly anticipated launches. Aztecs: The Last Sun takes players back to the waning days of the Aztec Empire, blending historical drama with mythological elements in a desperate struggle for survival. Pompeii: The Legacy also looks to the past, offering a tense cinematic experience set on the eve of Mount Vesuvius' eruption, where players must escape disaster while uncovering the human stories behind the tragedy. For fans of fantasy, Aethermancer opens a world where reality itself can be rewritten through powerful elemental spellcraft, merging science and sorcery in a fresh take on RPG design. Shifting gears, Baby Steps brings a very different type of challenge: players guide a clumsy protagonist through a strange new land with hilariously awkward, physics-based controls. Finally, The House of Tesla offers a moody narrative mystery, inviting players to explore Nikola Tesla's enigmatic mansion and unravel puzzles tied to his pioneering inventions.

A flood of major titles follows on September 25, headlined by the remake of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, which revives the beloved 3D platformer with modern visuals and smoother controls. Horror fans have their eyes on SILENT HILL f, the series' newest chapter set in the 1960s Japan, promising a disturbing mix of psychological terror and folklore. Sports fans aren't left behind either, with EA SPORTS FC 26 arriving as the latest football simulation, packed with updated rosters, advanced physics, and new modes. Role-playing enthusiasts can jump into Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, a beautifully painted entry in the Atelier franchise that balances alchemy with character-driven storytelling. For those seeking speed, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds brings SEGA's icon into a new interdimensional kart racer, while strategy lovers can command alien swarms in Buggos 2, a quirky sequel that blends colony expansion with survival tactics.

The momentum continues into September 26, where indie creativity and family-friendly fun share the spotlight. CloverPit introduces players to a cursed carnival in a roguelike packed with bizarre weapons and grotesque humor. On the arcade sports side, NBA BOUNCE takes basketball in a more playful direction with flashy moves and stylized animations built for quick sessions. Families, meanwhile, can get into the seasonal spirit early with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a cheerful adventure filled with festive quests and mini-games.

Finally, the week wraps up on September 28 with Garten of Banban 8: Anti Devil. The viral horror series returns to its surreal kindergarten setting, raising the stakes with a new adversary and even stranger environments designed to unnerve players.

Altogether, this week's lineup is one of the most varied in recent memory, and there's a release to match nearly every mood. As usual, you can visit our comparator to check out the best deals for those games.
