The Steam Autumn Sale is currently underway, allowing you to purchase hundreds of games at reduced prices. The most substantial discounts are primarily on older titles, with some reaching as much as 90% off.

While new releases don't have any notable price cuts, two impressive games launched this year are seeing their first-ever discounts during the Autumn Sale: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Hades II.

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you take on the role of Lieutenant Demetrian Titus, with the narrative set after the events of the 2011 title, Space Marine. Players will engage in rapid combat against various enemies and can enjoy a broad selection of weapons. The game also features multiple PvE and PvP modes, where you can create your own Space Marines, gain new skills, and choose from six distinct classes. According to SteamDB, this marks its inaugural sale.

As for Hades II, it has also experienced its first price drop, as noted by SteamDB. This title entered early access in May of this year and is now available at a 10% discount. The game has enjoyed success, hitting 103,567 concurrent players on Steam within its first day, while the original Hades peaked at 38,942 simultaneous players.

In Hades II, you assume the role of Melinoe, the Underworld's Princess, who embarks on a quest to conquer Chronos. The gameplay echoes that of the original Hades, featuring progression through various levels, intense combat, and enhancement of character abilities. As you advance, you'll delve into new realms, face mythical beings, and unlock additional weapons and skills. Unlike Space Marine 2, Hades II can run on virtually any system, including those with integrated graphics.

Both titles will remain at discounted rates until December 4. Following that, the Steam Autumn Sale will end, and it’s likely that both games will return to their original prices.
