The next Sims 4 expansion will be revealed in just a few days

Although we currently do not have a precise roadmap as it was the case in the spring, we do know that certain things are planned soon for The Sims 4. The game also received a "surprise" update last week that included some free items inspired by Hispanic cultures, especially those of Latin America.

Although the update was free, it was not to the liking of all The Sims 4 players. Indeed, it was initially intended for another purpose: to fix the problems related to the existing skin colors existing before the release of a bunch of other new ones in December, a hundred according to what has been announced. But the difference is so hard to notice that one wonders if something has really changed.

But the matter that has piqued our interest today is something completely different, namely the announcement of the next expansion for The Sims 4. We already knew that it was on the program and that it had to arrive before the end of the year since the developers informed us via an open letter to the community in September. We'll finally find out what it's all about next week. If you open The Sims 4 you'll see a quick note saying that the next expansion will be revealed on October 20 on the official Sims Youtube channel with a trailer that will air at 5 p.m. UK time.

Nothing has been said about the content of this new expansion, apart from the fact that it is neither a farm pack nor a “generations” pack. The most widespread rumors currently point to a pack related to vacations: hotels, cruises or romantic trips; or a pack in the style of Showtime from The Sims 3.
