The Division is free on PC

It's not usual for companies to give away games for free, or it wasn't, at least for Ubisoft but this year they have made a lot of their games free for a limited time. The Division is the last one in the list, and anyone that wants to get the game for free on PC can visit Ubisoft's official page and claim their copy. Of course, that means that you will have to install Uplay and create an account if you do not have one, but it seems that using multiple apps to manage your games is something we should get accustomed to and it really doesn't hurt much since it won't take much space on your hard drive on top of The Division installation files.

Tom Clancy's The Division is an online action role-playing game published in 2016 that takes place in an apocalyptic scenario. The United States of America has suffered the effects of a viral pandemic and the country is in a very chaotic situation. You will take the role of a Special Agent of the Strategic Homeland Division who is in charge of investigating the virus outbreak in Manhattan. The area is in quarantine and there are many factions that are trying to take advantage of the current situation to rampage through the city. In The Division, as you navigate through the streets of New York to complete missions in order to make your base in the city operative again, you will have to deal with gangs and criminals of all types that have made the city their playground. With plenty of weapons and gadgets at your disposal, you will prove to be a force to be reckoned and as you progress through the game you will discover the reasons behind the outbreak.

The Division also features a multiplayer competitive mode called the Dark Zone that will allow you to test your skills against other players. It will allow you to explore the most dangerous part of the city, and also the one where you will find the best pieces of equipment and weapons. But don't worry, because you will be able to team up with other players to go into the Dark Zone. Just make sure that your partners are trustworthy to avoid having unpleasant surprises.
